Pano Zero Client

The Pano Device from Pano Logic is a true zero client, allowing users to experience their own personal Windows desktop within a Virtual Desktop Environment. It has no CPU or memory, no embedded operating system or firmware, no device drivers or other software, no local storage or moving parts. Most thin and fat clients have all of these. It is the only true zero client solution available today.

Because the endpoint is so simple, no maintenance of the endpoint is necessary and, if a device ever fails, the remedy is simple replacement which can be performed easily by local staff without any expertise. This translates into time saved in travel, diagnosis, replacement parts order, delivery, fitting, software re-builds and configuration. Disruption to end users is minimal.

Power consumption is reduced to an absolute minimum – a Pano Box consumes 5W whereas a typical “green” pc consumes around 95W and thin clients around 15W.
